E-Verify is an internet-based system maintained by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that allows employers to verify identity and work authorization through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration. Human Resources will verify work authorization for all new employees using the E-Verify system on their first day of employment.
